Dear Friends of the Pewter Plough Playhouse,
THANKS TO YOU!!! We have had a wonderful productive reopening of the PLAYHOUSE beginning with The Glass Menagerie, followed by Becky's New Car, Playhouse Creatures, The Woman In Black and The Fourth Wall. Opening this Thanksgiving 2011 through New Year's Eve will be the revival of our Fascinating Gershwin musical, with the original cast plus a new cast member. We have had several Readers' Theatre productions and several one weekend attractions, and are fulfilling our mission by opening our doors to such community gatherings as Hospice of SLO "Light Up A Life", University Women's Club meetings, and Cambria's Hospitality Night. We have given two Coast Union High School Scholarships to students interested in drama and music.
Without your help, we could not have accomplished this. Our ticket sales cover less than 60% of our expenses. We need your new and renewed Memberships and Chair Sponsorships. This once a year donation request is the only request we can afford to send out each year and we greatly depend on your generosity. THE PEWTER PLOUGH PLAYERS, INC. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation and your contribution is 100% tax deductible. All contributions will be acknowledged in our play programs throughout the 2012 season. Our membership tiers are described in the folio enclosed [click on Membership button]. We still have some chairs available for Sponsorship and for $1,000 you can have your nameplate appear along with the name of the actor of your choice for ten years [click on Seating chart]. We have a new season planned beginning in February of 2012 which includes Wait Until Dark, Outward Bound, Six Dance Lessons In Six Weeks, Monday After The Miracle and an end of the year musical, possibly The Musical of Musicals. We will have our Readers' Theatre productions and are working on a number of weekend surprises during the year. WITH YOUR HELP, we will have another successful productive year, beginning our 36th year on December 9th.
