Renee Taylor and Joseph Bologna are the award-winning authors of Lovers and Other Strangers, Made for Each Other and Bermuda Avenue Triangle. It Had to Be You is the story of Theda Blau, a very minor B-movie actress, who meets and falls for television commercial producer Vito Pignoli on a failed audition. After a casual romp, she holds him hostage in her apartment enacting scenes from her epic one-woman show. Do the two end up together? Can two people who seem so wildly different actually have something in common? What do you think?
The stars of the show, Jill Turnbow and Joe Eister, previously appeared together in our production of Laundry & Bourbon and Lone Star which was directed by Turnbow.
